Ministries

Here at PCCC, we encourage our body to build relationships with each other, while continuing to enrich and deepen their walk with God. There are a number of ministries available enable people to grow in their relationships with God and others. Groups meet throughout the week, both at the church and at other locations. A few of our ministries are featured on this page. Information about specific groups can be obtained by emailing office@pccchurch.net

Children's Ministry

Welcome! We have a variety of ministries designed especially for our children here at Platte Canyon Community Church.

SUNDAY SCHOOL 9:00am - 10:00am

1yr-2nd grade "Everyone a Child Should Know" This class meets in the Canyon Kids Suite and discovers historical heroes of the faith; martyrs, missionaries, writers, reformers, poets, etc. They will learn that anyone who is Jesus' friend can do remarkable things for Him!

3rd-5th grade "Learning to Serve (L2S)" - This class meets in a classroom off the Rockworks and will be studying a New Testament Survey with blocks of life skills sprinkled throughout the year.

Canyon Kids & Nursery 10:15am - 11:30am

All children need to be checked-in prior to the service starting if possible. Children come upstairs to worship in song, readings and offering with the whole congregation. They are then dismissed during a special children's dismissal. Parents use the check-in tag to come pick up their children after the service.

0-2yrs - Our littlest members can go to the nursery as early as 10:00. They are read a Bible story and often sing songs and play. Our nursery staff does not change diapers so you will be paged should the need arise.

3yrs-5yrs - This fun preschool age class is taught by a loving rotation of mostly middle schoolers who have been trained in teaching. In this class they usually have a puppet show, an interactive lesson, a small snack and a game. Curriculum used is DIG IN by Group Publishing

K-5th grade - Our older children are all together and their time usually includes a fun interactive lesson, a game, a small snack and a monthly memory verse. This class is taught by other members of our congregation who have been trained in teaching. Curriculum used is DIG IN by Group Publishing

Cornerstone Club: Wednesday Evenings from 4:15pm - 6:00pm

K-5th Grade - Our fun and free after school group meets in the Rockworks on Wednesdays. Your children can expect to share a small meal, have large group time, with singing, interactive lessons about Jesus, object lessons, games, and monthly memory verses. They then split up into small groups based on age and occasionally gender where they have deeper Bible discussions, crafts and more games! Curriculum used is DIG IN by Group Publishing For carpooling/bus information contact Molly Stark at 720-438-1333 or children@pccchurch.net
